Founded in September 2024, this incredible centre honors the remarkable contributions of Tsalaemang Esther Danisa, a beloved former teacher, choir conductor, dance instructor, arts enthusiast whose legacy has left a lasting mark on the community for many years.

3.Nompumelelo Danisa – Co-Director
Nompumelelo, Tsalaemang’s granddaughter, is a dedicated artist on a mission to support young creatives! As an emerging artist herself, she offers hands-on teaching and mentorship, focusing on dramatic arts, poetry, and the power of storytelling through creative media.
Together, this dynamic leadership team brings unique skills and perspectives to the arts centre, creating a vibrant atmosphere for creativity!

Since opening its doors in September 2024, the T.ED Legacy Art Centre has made a remarkable impact on the local and regional arts scene! The centre has hosted two major community programs, reaching over 400 participants from various towns including Kimberley, Kuruman, Postmasburg, Groenwater, and beyond!
