Tebogo Thato Mabina, famously known as Thaydo the Psalmist, is the founder of Urban Psalmist Records. He is an Award-nominated poet, a prolific writer and lyricist from Kimberley, 'The City That Sparkles'. He is known for his transparency and incredible storytelling skill in spoken word and his literary work. He approaches real-life subjects with touching transparency and authenticity. He began his artistic journey at the young age of 7. In 2017 he hosted his first concert under the theme: "Story For The Ages: The Greatest Story Ever Told" and in 2018 hosted an arts conference under he theme: "Art For God's Sake". In 2021 he hosted the "Story For The Ages Poetry Workshops" for which he developed the learning material and started a mentorship program for all those who participated.
